Al Bait Boutique Hotel
Al Bait Hotel, is a 5 Star Boutique Hotel & Spa, located in Heritage Area of Sharjah, and involved the partial restoration of existing heritage houses, and a new build.
Michael was the Project Partner at GAJ, responsible for the Project Whilst working at GAJ, Michael was the Partner responsible for the design of the Al Bait Boutique Hotel from Scheme Design onwards.
The Project is located in the centre of the Sharjah Heritage area interwoven into the existing traditional urban fabric. The 54-bedroom hotel consists of the re-use of three existing heritage courtyard houses together with several new sympathetically designed buildings integrated around them. The intention of the Project was to re-build the essence of the Heart of Sharjah Heritage area in sympathetic and appropriately scaled interventions following the traces of the previous demolished heritage houses.
Dubai College
During their time at GAJ, both Clair and Michael have been involved in various projects at Dubai College, including the new Auditorium, Staff Quarters, Sixth Form Extensions, Classroom Block extensions. Previous Next
Montgomerie Golf Academy
The Golf Academy building at the Address Montgomerie served as the main club house from its completion in 2002, until early 2006. Whilst working as a Senior Architect at GAJ, Clair was involved in the Contract Administration of this project. Previous Next
Emirates Hills Villas
Whilst working at GAJ, Clair and Michael were responsible for the Design, Documentation and Contract Administration of four Emirates Hills villas.
Dubai Creek Golf Club Villas
Whilst working at GAJ, Michael was the Senior Architect responsible for the Scheme Design and construction of Dubai Creek Golf Club Villas.
Bab Al Shams
Whilst working at GAJ as a Senior Architect, Clair was part of the team, which built the prestigious Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa.
Clair was involved in this project as part of the Design Concept & Presentation Team, the Design Development & Documentation Team, Contract Administration.
Bab Al Shams is a 5 Star hotel, located near the Endurance Village, in the desert outside Dubai, U.A.E.
The hotel was designed and built with strict time constraints, and construction was completed in 2004.
Clair was an integral part of the GAJ design team, and was involved in all stages of the design, documentation and contract administration of the Project. Michael was involved in the Project, in construction administration.
